School Readiness Program

At Eleebana Children’s Centre, we will support the children in their lead-up to school by providing them with a school readiness program the year prior to starting school. This program has been created in collaboration with schools in the local area to ensure the program provides key skills that will support your child’s transition into the school environment.

Alongside the enriching play-based program we currently offer where we support the children’s natural; curiosity for learning we will also support the children in developing their self-help skills and independence, receptive listening, numeracy, language and literacy skills including learning to recognise and begin to write their names.

At Eleebana Children’s Centre, we also offer a community-based program for all children encouraging connection to the land and people within our local area. The children will be invited to engage in local community walks going to tingira heights reserve as well as participating in group experiences with Elebana Shores retirement village.
